If you want to run the electromagnetic flowmeter efficiently, and achieve the effect of getting twice the result with half the effort, the flowmeter manufacturer Philemon Instrument specially tells you the following points, if you need it, you can click the collection.
1. Piping system and installation, etc.
The fault is usually caused by the incorrect installation position of the electromagnetic flow sensor. The common one is to install the flow sensor at the high point of the pipe network that is easy to accumulate and store gas; there is no back pressure after the flow sensor, and the liquid is directly discharged into the atmosphere to form its measuring tube Partially full pipe; when installed on a vertical pipe flowing from top to bottom, emptying may occur.
2. Environmental aspects
Mainly the pipeline stray current interference, space electromagnetic wave interference, large motor magnetic field interference, etc. Pipeline stray current interference usually takes good separate grounding protection to obtain satisfactory measurement, but if there is strong stray current in the pipeline, it may not be able to overcome it. Measures must be taken to insulate the flow sensor from the pipeline. Space electromagnetic wave interference is generally introduced through signal cables, and is usually protected by single-layer or multi-layer shielding.
3 and; the increase of the bubble will cause the output signal to fluctuate, if the bubble is so large that it flows through the electrode and covers the entire electrode surface, the electrode signal circuit and fluid
(1) Liquids containing evenly distributed small bubbles usually do not affect the normal measurement. The measured volume flow is the instantaneous disconnection of the liquid and the gas, and the output signal will produce greater fluctuations.

(2) Poor selection of electrode material and measured medium. Poor selection will cause chemical effects such as passivation or oxidation, the formation of an insulating film on the electrode surface, and electrochemical and polarization phenomena, which will hinder normal measurement.
Philemon Instruments has produced electromagnetic flowmeters for many years. If you have other questions about the use of electromagnetic flowmeters, you can always contact the staff of Philemon Instruments online or by phone.
