Electromagnetic flowmeters are widely used in metallurgy, chemical, petrochemical, medicine, food, agriculture and households. It is required to have straight pipe sections before and after the installation. The recommended low requirement for the front and rear straight pipe sections for on-site installation is that the front straight pipe section is not less than 10D to prevent excessive pressure on the process piping. It is strictly separated from other power sources. One of the reasons for the random jump of the displayed value of the electromagnetic flowmeter is that the installation position is incorrect, and the regular pulsating flow generated by the reciprocating pump in the piping system. The liquid contains gas or bubbles, there are strong magnetic fields such as motors around, and there are stray currents in the pipeline.
The electrode of the electromagnetic flowmeter is contaminated, or the electrode suitable for the liquid to be measured is not selected correctly. Steam flowmeter manufacturer's electromagnetic flowmeter grounding electrode is not installed in place or interfered by magnetic field. The indirect reason for the large fluctuations should be due to good environmental conditions during the commissioning period.
