Ultrasonic Level Transmitter uses ultrasound waves and operates based on Time-of-Flight principle.
lt's sensor produces an ultrasonic wave and sends it to the medum in the tank which could be lquid or solid and deteot its refieotion from themedium surface.
The travel time of the wave between emission to reception of ts reflection which is called Time-of-Flight,is proportional to the distance betweensensor and the medium surfaco.
Ultrasonic Level Transmitter analyzes the wave Time-of-Flight and provides the medium level in the tank as a 4-20 mA output signal
